Pine Ridge: Hidden Secrets

Strict walls, forbidden visits

Sp00kybby is a bratty adult woman whose Private Content leaked. As a result she is sent to Pine Ridge, a strict Catholic institution where nobody is meant to enjoy themselves.

Her regular contact with the outside is a weekly visit from her adult stepbrother. At first it is a break from the rules. Then it turns into something forbidden, and the synopsis is blunt about how far it goes.

The appeal is contrast. The place preaches restraint, she has a reputation to outrun, and the visits are the one scheduled thing she can look forward to.

What we think

It is a contained setting with one rule-breaker, and that keeps it tight. The brat-versus-strict-rules angle gives the dialogue some bite.

Because the early episodes mostly establish the situation, the payoff sits in episodes 3 to 5.
