A stand-in for the groom

The fiancé keeps missing wedding prep, so Ava hands his part to her stepbrother Leo. The job covers the vows, the kiss, the dress and the wedding night. Both are adults.

The real groom is only a phone call away, so every rehearsal could be cut short. We first tracked this series on Oct 30, and as of our Nov 6 check it lists five episodes.

What each episode gives you

  1. Episode 1Free

Ava pulls her stepbrother inside and announces that tonight he is the fiancé, because she needs to practice. She waves off the real groom as someone who has never once been right. A call from the fiancé interrupts, he is told a stand-in is helping, and the episode ends with her setting out to test the word harmless.

  2. Episode 2Free account

Free with a Candy account. We only have episode 1 dialogue, so we stay with the premise: the rehearsals keep moving toward the wedding checklist.

  3. Episodes 3–5Tokens

The paid part builds toward the dress and the wedding night. This is where things go all the way, behind the paywall.

Who is in the room

Lea Fontaine is the AI character Candy attaches to this wedding story, and she can also be reached for chat on Candy.ai. The story centers on Ava and her stepbrother Leo; the fiancé is mostly a voice on the phone.

Our take on the stand-in plot

The appeal is the rehearsal logic: she sets the terms, he is told it is practice, and the line blurs more each scene.

Two episodes cost nothing, so you can judge the tone first. The last three are on Candy.ai only.
